Hi, I’m Ranjani Ramesh Iyengar, and I started Pink Whistle Man back in October 2015 with one mission – to reinvent how we communicate through design.
It began with a simple realisation: joy is contagious. When I created wedding invitations that sparked genuine delight, I knew I had found my thing – and the incredible people I got to work with became the heart of it all.
From a background in engineering, marketing, and consulting, I finally found my calling through Pink Whistle Man. The idea was born while I was planning my own wedding and struggled to find stationery that felt “me.” Everything felt templated and impersonal. I wanted couples to have something that truly brought out their story. We believe every wedding has a unique essence. Our job is to distill that essence into a visual language – sometimes through deep chats with our clients, sometimes over casual coffee conversations.
Finding that special “hook” is like solving for x in a math equation – and when it clicks, it’s pure joy.
Pink Whistle Man became my outlet to blend emotion, storytelling, and design in a way that felt deeply personal.
Today, we customise complete wedding stationery suites: From Save the Dates, Invites, Wardrobe Planners and Menus, to Thank You Notes and thoughtful Wedding Favours. We also work on custom installation pieces for Wedding events.
As a practice, I attend art residencies every year to stay inspired, learn new things, and bring fresh energy into every celebration we design for.
Pink Whistle Man
Pink Whistle Man was inspired by the magical Mr. Pink Whistle – Enid Blyton’s charming character who saw wonder in everything. What began as a homegrown idea has grown into an award-winning brand, with a joyful presence in over 12 countries.
We’ve built our journey on word of mouth, glowing recommendations, and the love of our amazing clients and wedding planners — and for that, we’re endlessly grateful.
